Chapter 1038

Lysander’s car was roaring towards the Star Harbor Villa. He was only three minutes away from the destination.

Suddenly, the sky was split by the thunderous roar of plane blades slicing through the air.

Glancing up, Lysander caught sight of a sleek black plane ascending higher, heading towards the distant horizon.

His grip on the steering wheel tightened, his foot slammed down on the accelerator. Like an arrow released from its bow, he sped into the villa’s courtyard. The yard was barren, devoid of trees and greenery, surrounded by a small path that circled a patch of bare, yellow earth.

The villa itself was plunged into darkness. The gate sealed shut.

Clearly, no one was home.

It was in that escaping plane that Thalassa and the children had been sitting.
