Thalassa bowed her head, her gaze lingering on the suitcase before her, a bittersweet sensation churning in her gut.

She had imagined being there for Lysander the moment he awoke, continuing to care for him, sharing countless words she'd stored up just for him. She wanted to tell him how much she'd longed for his awakening over these past three years, to talk about their future and dreams.

But to her dismay, Lysander's first act upon waking was to send her away. He wouldn't even grant her the courtesy of a final meeting.
