In the dimly lit Eagle's Nest Bar, Joshua was nowhere to be seen. Instead, it was Reginald who stormed in with a few cronies in tow. Without a moment's hesitation, he aggressively confronted the bar manager barking, "Where's that little tramp Susan?"

To think his father, Joshua, had him running errands to deal with some floozy.

The big corporate decisions? Out of his reach. Joshua even came close to handing over the entire empire to his son-in-law, Lysander! It was as if he was completely written off as Joshua's son!

It became crystal clear to Reginald that the Whitman family fortune was never meant to be his. Yet, here he was, dealing with his father's trivial messes!

Fury boiled within Reginald.

The manager knew of Susan, thanks to Lysander's explicit instructions before he left. "The woman in the private booth is Susan," he had said. Intimidated by Reginald's menacing aura, the manager pointed towards the booth in a panic.

Reginald didn't even bother with a thank you. He just glared at the manager and stormed towards the booth.

Finding the booth door shut, Reginald's patience snapped. He kicked the door open with a resounding thud.
