Talking, she continued, "I saw Angelina yesterday, holding a little boy as she went into the orphanage director's office. If I'm not mistaken, that kid must be Georgia's."

"What? What did you say?" Hertha was so shocked she was speechless, her hands involuntarily clutching Thalassa's arm.

Seeing Hertha's agitated state, Thalassa tried to soothe her, "Hey, take a deep breath. Don't jump to conclusions. I told you this because something seems off. We should look into it."

"What's off?" Hertha's eyes widened, her expression starting to spiral out of control. "Could it be that Georgia's child was borrowed from the orphanage, and they're pretending he's Alaric's? But Alaric took a paternity test with that child. Why would Alaric keep this from me? What's he trying to hide?"

Hertha was clearly panicking.

Thalassa had barely scratched the surface, and Hertha was already losing it, bombarding her with questions.

Thalassa quickly tried to stop her from spiraling.

"Hertha, calm down. We don't know the whole truth yet. Let's head to the orphanage first and see what's up. Once we have all the facts, we can figure out what's going on."

"When do we go?" Hertha looked up, clear panic in her eyes.

"How about after work? We've still got jobs to do, right?" Thalassa said, trying to calm her down.

Hertha nodded.
