Burdened with bias and bitterness, Rosalind aimed to smear Thalassa's name in front of Lysander, hoping to tarnish Thalassa's image in his eyes. But she was clueless about how childish and laughable her attempts appeared to Lysander. Lysander and Thalassa had weathered storms together to find their slice of happiness. He knew Thalassa inside out; how could he doubt her over Rosalind's petty words? Instead, Rosalind's desperate tries to discredit Thalassa only fueled his disdain.

"Ms. Whitman, you think you can slander my wife and get away with it? Apologize to her now!" Lysander's eyes were sharp as daggers, cutting right through Rosalind's heart. His tone was firm and icy, leaving no room for negotiation but demanding compliance. Rosalind paled, "I..."
