During the engagement party, the Donovans thought Claire was only able to defeat them because she had a copy of the surveillance footage from the hotel back then. However, Claire had efficiently and swiftly struck at them twice. Although it looked like she did not put a lot of strength into her attacks, they were still too afraid to attack her once more.
