As she parked her car outside Evelyn's new home, she smiled, impressed with Evelyn's choice. Grabbing the tray of appetizers and a box of desserts, she made her way to the door. Evelyn greeted her with a wide smile, opening the door before Rayna could knock. "Ray! You made it!" she exclaimed, pulling her into a warm hug.

"Of course I did! You know I wouldn't miss this for the world." Rayna stepped back, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "This neighborhood is amazing, by the way. You've really outdone yourself." Evelyn laughed, brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "I'm just glad everything came together. I've been running around like crazy since we moved in, but it's finally starting to feel like home."
