Chapter 1020

Anastasia suddenly couldn't wait to see Autumn get caught red-handed. She

wasn't some kind of saint-after everything Autumn had put her through, she'd love nothing more than to watch her get what she deserved. Autumn had brought this on herself; there was no blaming anyone else.

As for Autumn, Herman wasn't the least bit worried anything unexpected would happen. He went straight to the point and asked Dailey, "It's pretty late-what were you doing at The Grand Plaza Hotel?"

Anastasia's curiosity was instantly on high alert; she perked up, all ears. Clearly, something was going on with Dailey.

Dailey fumbled, "Boss, I was just... passing by."

Dailey couldn't lie to save his life-he didn't even bother to come up with a halfway decent excuse.

Who just happens to stroll by a hotel in the middle of the night? Was he really not staying there?

Dailey had his own place in Riverdale. Why would he go to a hotel instead of going home?

Catching the mischievous look in Anastasia's eyes, Herman decided to play along and dug a little deeper.

"So you just happened to walk by the front door?" Herman asked, raising an eyebrow. "That's some timing."
