"You... you've got some nerve," Kieran spat out, his patience worn thin.

"I'm tired, Kieran. I don't have the energy to argue with you," Freya retorted, going upstairs.

With each step she took, Kieran felt his anger boiling over. Since their engagement party, Freya seemed to push his buttons even more, each time, nearly driving him to a rage.

On the second floor, Freya entered what used to be her room in the Sutton family. The layout was the same, but her personal belongings were gone. She shook her head with a wry smile. "Oh, Freya, you used to put up with a lot," she thought. Suddenly, a loud crash from the room next door made her frown. While moving toward Kieran's room, she smelled a strong, sweet scent. Before she knew it, Kieran had pulled her inside.
