With her watery eyes and slightly flushed cheeks, Avery looked at Cayden in a daze.

Cayden was also staring back at her with his passionate gaze. After a while of staring at each other, he couldn't figure out what was on her mind, so he leaned toward her once again.

Avery's eyes were wide open as she was getting kissed by Cayden.

She could clearly see his high-bridged nose and exceptional brow ridge. Under the night sky, his alluring and delicate facial features seemed rather surreal.

Cayden had a hand at the back of her head and another under her chin. There, his passionate kiss went from her lips to her neck and collarbone.

“Mmm...” Avery was forced to lift her head and catered to his acts.

Cayden's moist lips just kept pressing against her skin.

By then, things were getting more and more heated.

Avery was quite inexperienced. Especially with kissing, because she had only done it with him.

Hence, she let him take the lead.

Avery closed her eyes. By the time she opened them again, she was gasping for air, and her tongue had gone numb. She held up her hand and pressed against his firm chest.

Cayden grabbed her moving hand and held on to it firmly.

At that moment, Avery felt a surge of heat within her body, and the feeling was intense.

Scared, she lowered her gaze to shy away. However, her gaze met Cayden's alluring lips as he was still suckling on her tongue.

She tasted the taste in his mouth, and he tasted refreshing with a hint of tobacco.

Aroused, Avery couldn't help but close her eyes, clear her mind, and concentrate on the passionate kiss.

Fortunately for them, it was at night. Moreover, they were in the back of his car, so passersby wouldn't be able to see them.

Cayden was breathing heavily when he asked in his sexy and hoarse voice, “Did I hurt you?” His eyes were reddened, and he looked like he was just about to reach his climax.

Cayden noticed her looking away. After stroking her face and kissing her lips gently, he said, “Your heart is racing.”

Avery merely lowered her head and refused to admit it.

The passion in Cayden's eyes was burning intensely, and he looked like a formidable beast. The woman in his embrace, however, looked like a scaredy-cat that was seduced by him.

“I'm sorry, but I have something to attend to. I'll take my leave now.” At that moment, all Avery wanted was to find somewhere to be alone and slap herself across the face.

When Avery got out of the car, a middle-aged couple in the residential area spotted her when they were taking a stroll.

Considering his tall figure and long legs, Cayden took two steps forward and caught up to her easily. She was walking with her head hung low at one moment, and she was lifted off the ground the next.

“Hey! Put me down!” Avery was stumped.

As she was leaning on his shoulder, she was rather shaken up.

The couple couldn't help but feel embarrassed upon seeing that. What a domineering young man!

Cayden opened the car door and shoved her into the car.

The couple stretched their necks to see what they were doing inside the car. However, Cayden's imported car had dark window tinting on, so people couldn't see much of the inside.

Cayden didn't give Avery a chance to speak, and he started the car.

“You can either fasten your seatbelt yourself, or I'll do it for you,” he ordered in a deep voice. After that, he turned the steering wheel aggressively and sped out of the residential area.

Unless she wanted to risk her life and jump out, Avery had no chance to get out of the car.

The black Land Rover left the residential area and drove for around ten minutes. He only pulled over when they arrived on a secluded street and parked the car by the side of the road.

Avery had no idea why he had suddenly stopped the car.

Her heart was pounding, and she was reminded of the class reunion she was supposed to attend. She couldn't resist glancing at him curiously. I wonder what is he doing tonight. Is he going to attend the mentor's birthday celebration as well?

Cayden closed his eyes and frowned slightly. He then leaned against the driver's seat as his breathing turned ragged. Suddenly, he asked, “Did you miss me at all?”
