Her gaze fell on the red wine inside the wine glass, albeit what she said.

The bright red liquid seemed to reflect the shadow of the stubborn girl on the terrace.

Although Avery appears fragile, she isn't easy to deal with.

Flushed red, Nicole protested, “What do you know? I like him a lot more than you think. What if he rejects me? How am I supposed to face him after that? What's more, he already has someone he likes.”

As Nicole thought of Avery being adored by Cayden, she got jealous.

At the same time, she was overwhelmed with disappointment and resentment.

“So what? People can get divorced even after getting married. Besides, they are not married to each other yet. Nickie, you have to fight for your happiness. Stop being so passive and let him know how you feel.” As Bonnie spoke, she lit up a cigarette unperturbed. “You silly girl, watch me.” Bonnie ran her fingers through her long hair charmingly and cast a shy wink at a table of men who were having small talk. Then, she revealed her cleavage and acted as though it was inadvertent. Right after that, she wrapped herself up tightly with a shawl.

As expected, those successful-looking men immediately stopped talking and gulped.

All of them stared straight at Bonnie with lustful gazes.

“You see that, Nickie? Men only appear serious on the surface. They are filled with lust and are willing to do anything for you as long as you sleep with them.
