He was about to speak when Amelia’s phone suddenly rang.

Amelia picked up her phone, and Warren caught a glimpse of the caller ID displaying the name Lucas.

“Lucas, what’s up?” Amelia asked.

“Amelia, could you please keep an eye out for me and see if Nadine is at your place? If you happen to spot her, give me a call right away.” Lucas’ voice sounded anxious.

Amelia was stunned. “What’s wrong? Is Nadine missing?”

I checked the surveillance on my end, but all I saw was her riding her kid’s bike onto the street. Then, she went out of the camera’s range. again. Just in case she comes to your place, you could keep an eye out.”
