Chapter 198 Bryan's Prank

When Bryan heard the news, he figured those two must've had a serious fight, maybe even talked about splitting up.

But honestly, their fights and divorce threats were like clockwork; they'd be back to normal in a few days.

Bryan had no clue Sophia was pregnant, though.

He didn't want to come off as too nosy, but he also didn't want to seem indifferent. After mulling it over, Bryan just told Michael, "Hey man, maybe ease up on the booze. It's not a great look."

Michael, clearly wasted, didn't get it. He just leaned in, threw an arm around Bryan, and slurred, "Do you think I care about my image? Dude, you care too much about that. What's it worth? One day, you'll see it's all pointless." And with that, Michael passed out on Bryan.

Bryan realized that despite everything, Emily still meant a lot to Michael. Losing her felt like losing everything.

But Emily wasn't answering her phone, and Michael was too drunk to do anything. Bryan felt like he was always playing the hero, saving people left and right. With a sigh, he dragged Michael to the car.

Bryan decided not to take Michael back to Emerald Lake Manor. Instead, he drove him straight to the Smith Mansion. Consider it Michael's way of paying him back for the trouble!

"What did you just say?" Mason banged the table and glared at Benjamin.

Benjamin, shaking, looked down and said, "Mr. Michael Smith was brought back by Mr. Watson. He's passed out in the bedroom and has thrown up a few times. I also heard Mr. Watson say that Mr. Michael Smith is getting a divorce from Mrs. Smith."

Mason wasn't too bothered by the puking; he was used to Michael's low alcohol tolerance. He'd always told him that as the president of Smith Corporation, he needed to handle his liquor better.

But Michael always dodged those lessons. Now, he'd made a fool of himself in front of Bryan. Let's see if he regrets it later!
