Chapter 1725

Aurora had already set some ground rules with the nanny: absolutely no taking Elijah to deserted areas, period.

She was so swamped with stuff at the art studio most days, she couldn't really spend as much time with her son as she'd like. So, she figured the best thing she could do was try to head off any potentially dangerous situations before they even started.

"Okay, good! If you ever feel like it's too much to handle Elijah on your own, I can always hire a security guard to help out," Aurora offered.

"That won't be necessary right now. But if I do need help, I'll let you know," the nanny replied.

Aurora nodded, though her gaze drifted out the window to the big house across the street that was still under renovation.

She thought to herself that when the new neighbors finally moved in, she should probably be the first to go over and say hi.

After all, as the old saying goes, "Good fences make good neighbors." Aurora always believed it was important to have a good relationship with the folks next door.
