The host glanced at the cue card in his hand, ready to proceed to the next segment.

“Let’s take a break,” said Josiah.

The host was stunned for a moment. “What?”

Josiah elaborated, “The meeting has been going on for over an hour now, so let’s all take a break.”

The host immediately understood, nodded, and said, “Having just heard so many unique insights from industry elites, everyone must be tired. The summit will be adjourned for half an hour. Everyone, please take a break, and we’ll continue half an hour later.”

As soon as the word ‘break‘ was mentioned, the venue became noisy immediately.

Indeed, there were quite a few bigwigs who attended the meeting that day. Many took the opportunity to network, and others seized the chance to connect with peers in the industry. Everyone had their own agenda, and a lot could be accomplished in half an hour.

Lysander hadn’t eaten anything in the morning, hence she didn’t feel the need to go.
