Dahlia shot a quick glance at Charles. Her mind was racing. She was worried that Evelyn's calm demeanor might sway him, so she kept pushing his buttons with every word she spoke.

"Evelyn, you're terrifying. How can you be so bold? Do you think you're untouchable now that Rosa is back and you have her support? Do you really believe you're above the law?"

Tears threatened to spill from Dahlia's eyes, and she looked like she might collapse at any second. Her gaze was fixed on Evelyn. Her expression screamed of frustration-despite the apparent evidence against Evelyn, she felt powerless. After she finished speaking, Dahlia turned to Charles, who looked like a storm about to break. His expression was icy and intense. Charles was on the brink of fury, and it seemed Evelyn was in serious trouble.

Dahlia's eyes briefly flickered with a hint of malice. But before she could even think about calling the cops, Charles spoke up, "Aiden, take him to the police station yourself."

"Yes, Mr. Jenkins," Aiden replied promptly, stepping forward to lift the man off the ground and drag him out.

Everything happened so fast that Evelyn barely knew what was happening. But she was innocent and wasn't afraid to go to the police station. She trusted that the truth would come out and clear her name.

So, without fear or resistance, Evelyn started following Aiden to head to the police station. She was ready to face whatever came next.
