By the time Charles dashed down the stairs, Brooks was already bundling Evelyn into a car. The vehicle sped off right before his eyes. Charles jumped into his car, and Aiden floored the accelerator, racing after them.

Sena hurried to the restaurant, arriving just in time to see Brooks carrying a clearly drugged Evelyn into the car. Jealousy flared, turning her eyes a fiery red. 'Evelyn, that conniving bitch!' Sena was livid when she found out Rosa had set Evelyn and Brooks up for a date. He was the man she'd been pining for. She wanted to run to Rosa and shout that Evelyn was a deceitful bitch and didn't deserve Brooks.

Evelyn had been with Charles for five years. He had used her up, and she even had his child. How could such a woman be worthy of Brooks? But her mother stopped her. Rosa couldn't remember the past five years, and causing a stir would only get Sena in trouble with both her uncle and cousin.
