Charles had just logged into the cloud storage for the surveillance footage. Those cameras had been set up since the day they moved in, and the recordings had been sitting there for five years. As he thought about all the moments he'd missed in Charlie's life, an overwhelming urge to watch the footage hit him. But just as he was about to hit play, his phone buzzed.

It was Tony on the line. "Mr. Charles, your grandma has fainted."
