Evelyn was on edge about her mom's health. She bolted to Dr. Nelson's office without wasting a second. In her rush, she skipped knocking and burst through the door, her voice tinged with panic, "Dr. Nelson, what's going on with my mom?"

"Ms. Evelyn, please, take a seat. Let's talk this through calmly," Andrew said, offering a reassuring smile. He knew Evelyn meant a lot to Charles, so he was noticeably more considerate than usual.
