Chapter 681

Thinking of the Cipoletti family's daughter and granddaughter still trapped inside, Josephine forced herself to swallow her panic.

She knew Charles needed the estate's layout, so she jumped up right away and started sketching. Thirty minutes later, she sent it off.

"Charles, you have to save Charlie," she begged.

"Mrs. Sullivan, don't worry. Even if it costs me everything, I'll bring Eve and Charlie back to you-safe and sound," Charles promised.

"You look after yourself too, okay? All three of you need to come home safe. That's all I want," Josephine sobbed, tears streaming down her face.

Her words meant more than just worry-she was telling Charles that if they all made it back, she'd forgive him.

"Alright,” Charles answered, his voice gruff with emotion. He understood her. Without wasting a second, he hurried off to team up with Francis.

Everything was set. Charles and Francis split up, each taking their own squad. Armed with the Cipoletti family's blueprints, they moved in fast-breaking through the defenses like a storm.

Gunfire echoed inside and out, flames lighting up the night. Francis's men kept the Cipoletti guards busy, while Charles and his team searched desperately for Evelyn and Charlie.

But after searching every inch of the estate, there was no sign of them.

It wasn't until they checked the security cameras that Charles realized Luna had taken them.

He didn't hesitate he went after her right away.

On the rooftop, Luna stood just out of the sniper's sight, a wild and twisted grin stretching across her face. Evelyn and Charlie were held tightly by her two henchmen.
