His dragon daggers flashed from their sheaths, slicing through the wind as they shot straight toward the mercenaries gathered on the deck of the Beast Fleet’s warship.

The sea breeze of the Panacea Ocean howled with wild fury, whipping up savage waves that crashed mercilessly onto the deck.

The salty wind carried the metallic scent of blood.

In the blink of an eye, a whole squad of mercenaries on the battleship deck was reduced to a blood–soaked

mess.

Lussen stared in horror at the demonic figure standing tall like a demon on the deck.

So, this is the legendary Divine Drakebane.

The storm winds still roared over the Panacea Ocean as the waves continued to thunder and slam against the hull.

Blood dripped rhythmically from the dull dagger onto the silent deck. Each drop echoed with dread.

Lussen picked up the comms device shakily and yelled, “Reporting, General Giovanni! Mr. Drakebane has boarded our command ship!”

Inside the command cabin, Giovanni–who had been waiting smugly for the report of Drakebane’s death -froze in disbelief.

“No matter how strong Divine Drakebane is, he’s just a man of flesh and blood! How could he possibly survive a bombardment that intense?”

Lussen cut him off, his voice low and grim. “General Giovanni, we don’t have much time left. Send your family a goodbye message.”

He knew that Lussen was slow–witted, but never one to joke.

An overwhelming sense of unreality and dread crashed over him.
