After a few rings, the call connected.

"Justin, I'm truly surprised and delighted you called me." Grant's voice remained as gentle and kind as ever, with a hint of feebleness.

"Grant, how have you been lately?"

Despite his usual straightforward nature, Justin felt compelled to make small talk since he needed a favor.

"Everything's been the same as always. I'm surviving on so much medication. They're making me lose so much hair." Grant then jokingly said, "Justin, do you think I'll be bald like a monk the next time we meet?"

"Grant, I'm actually in Meridan right now." Justin's tone turned serious, showing no interest in cracking jokes.

"Oh? Really? When did you arrive?"

"Two nights ago."

Justin took a deep breath and spoke in a low voice, "Grant, I have an urgent matter and need your help. Can we meet up?"

That evening, Justin and lan headed to the address Grant had sent them.

Throughout the journey, Justin's jaw remained tense.

Although they were half-brothers and had a good relationship during their childhood, as the elder brother, Grant had taken care of Justin in many ways despite not sharing the same mother.

However, they had not seen each other for more than a decade. Besides, they rarely interacted except during holidays and special occasions. To Justin, his elder brother felt more like a distant relative than someone close. But Justin respected him more than anything else.
