Though Yvonne tried to send Drew away quickly, this man was tenacious and persistent, shamelessly hanging around.

However, he did not disturb her. Instead, he stood silently at a distance. He watched Yvonne cook with the cafeteria ladies, her slender frame effortlessly stirring a large black pot. She picked, washed, and chopped vegetables with practiced ease, without a hint of pretense, as if she had done this her entire life.

Drew crossed his arms, growing more captivated by the sight. Yvonne, busy and sweating, had a few strands of hair stuck to her cheeks, looking a bit disheveled. To him, she appeared absolutely stunning in this moment.

Usually, when they met, she resembled a flawless, exquisite artwork, captivating men's eyes and hearts. But this time, she was even more beautiful because she seemed more alive and real.

When the orphanage began serving food, as Yvonne's "friend", Drew was lucky enough to join the children for a meal. Yvonne and two other teachers stood in a line, serving food to the children one by one.

The children's clear voices and beaming smiles were heartwarming. Yvonne responded warmly,
