Mandy snapped back to reality, vigorously shaking her head. “No, my mom hasn’t been taking any other medications.” She thought she was going out of her mind. If the doctors were at their wits end, where on earth did that brat get her hands on a cure?

The doctor, hearing this, quipped with a chuckle, “Well, that’s quite the miracle, isn’t it?”

Mandy managed a weak smile, her mind already set on getting a full check–up for Catherine once they got her back to Ashford.

By the time Mirabella reached Ashford, it was 10 p.m. She stepped off the plane, and her phone immediately flooded with a barrage of texts and Messenger alerts. Before she could even glance at them, her phone started to ring. It’s an unknown number.
