“Strange, who is this gray-clad elder? Have I seen him somewhere before?”

Leon snapped out of his reverie, his face full of suspicion as he fell into a brief contemplation.

Although the aura of true qi from the gray -clad elder felt vaguely familiar, his appearance was completely foreign to Leon.

He was trying to remember who this elder might be and if he indeed met him before.



Whoosh! Just as Leon thought deeply, Mister Micah’s arrogant voice rang out again.

“Howser, you have witnessed the power of Elder Destiny now, haven’t you?”

Mister Micah sneered.

“Considering that the Jansons and the Micahs are prominent families in the Central Region, I’ll give you one last chance! If you know what’s good for you, back off now and hand over that foolish thing to me for disposal! Otherwise, face the consequences!”

Mister Micah’s face was full of cold arrogance, assuming a superior stance as if he already secured victory over Howser.

“I-“”

Howser’s face darkened, turning pale and uncertain.

Initially, he sent out the Sixth and Seventh-Uncles of the Jansons to intimidate Mister Micah, hoping to make him retreat.

But things did not go as planned.

To his dismay, Mister Micah had a top-tier expert at the peak of the Almighty State by his side! With such formidable power and cultivation, even if the Sixth and Seventh Uncles of the Jansons joined forces, they could not possibly contend with Elder Destiny, the gray-clad elder! If he went back on his word and retreated now, he would lose face and become a laughingstock.

This was not a situation he was willing to accept.

Caught in a dilemma, Howser did not know how to respond.

“You want to deal with my subordinate? What makes the Micahs qualified to do that?”
