LADESSA.

"The Alpha woke up!" Dexter, Kael's Beta, yelled from the living room.

My body went rigid as the words slowly sank in. I immediately left the housemaid I was speaking to in the kitchen and rushed to our bedroom.

Kael, my mate, had a car accident a month ago and went into a coma. His condition was getting better, and recently, he began falling in and out of consciousness.
