KNOCK, KNOCK went a harsh tap on the closed wooden doors. Jason and Charlie were consumed with endless paperwork at their desks. Kai was lounging on the sofa, cleaning his knives, and Ben was busy drawing up new blueprints at the designer tables.

Since Marco’s demise, they had once again seized many of his assets and closed his new businesses. His strip clubs, casinos, and cash accounts were split equally between the O’Donnell, Tsolomytis, and Hershel Mafia. The guys had a lot to do; they barely slept let alone did anything else but work for the last three weeks since they were all released from the hospital ward.

“Come in!” Charlie yelled, not looking up from his stack of papers.

A small, petite maid walked in with her head held low. She did not dare look up knowing she would not survive the next two minutes if she did. She walked over to Jason’s desk and extended her hand which held a white envelope.

He raised his eyebrows as he silently read it first. Charlie, Kai, and Ben all made their way over to his desk and waited for him to spill the tea.
