Losing Stanley hurt more than Wendy had ever expected.

She couldn't even explain what it was about him that made her feel this way. He was never kind to her at all. And yet, everyone has that one person in their life they love-someone who might not deserve it, but still holds a place in your heart.

Her fingers tightly gripped the crystal pendant he had given her, the one she knew she would never let go of. But deep down, she understood-she had lost him.

At that very moment, Stanley sat in his Rolls Royce Phantom, parked by the side of the road. Through the gleaming windshield, he watched Wendy huddled in on herself, crouched on the street, sobbing uncontrollably.
