Zada nodded. “Yeah, I’ll bring the soup to the hospital now so Halsey can have it while it’s hot.”

Sierra reached out. “Let me help.”

“No, it’s fine. I’ll do it myself,” Zada said, brushing her off.

Sierra was frustrated. Zada wasn’t giving her a chance to polson the soup. The little packet of powder was still in her pocket.
