"They were protecting you," Natalie said flatly. "My people have been protecting you. Otherwise, do you think you can rest and recuperate here in peace? Since you mentioned the Langleys, it looks like I'll have to pay them a visit."

She stood up and added, "It looks like I should meet with Kenton as well. Grace has certainly prepared quite a few surprises for me."
