Timothy’s heart raced as he sat in the sterile waiting room of the paternity testing center, flanked by Andy on one side and Stella on the other. He could hardly believe that it had come to this–having a paternity test to determine if he was the father of Stella’s child. The tension in the room was suffocating, and the air was thick

Stella leaned closer to him, her voice low and soothing, as she tried to reassure him. “Timothy, you have to believe me. The baby is yours. There’s no doubt about it.”
