Chapter 586

Susan felt indignant for Sophia, but she also feared of Theresa possibly losing her dad again. Brandon didn't utter a word or show any reaction; he just silently wrapped Theresa in a hug.

Susan couldn't help but shoot a worried glance at Kent. Kent gave her a reassuring "don't sweat it" look, but he couldn't help worrying about Brandon himself. As he was trying to figure out how to break the ice and offer some comfort, Martin's slightly uncertain voice piped up from behind, "Kent?"

Kent turned around to the sound, spotting Martin who had come over with Louis and Renata. With a smile, he greeted, "Mr. Frost."

After the greeting, his eyes naturally drifted to Louis and Renata, and he greeted them with a smile, "Louis, Renata."

Louis looked like he had aged a ton and seemed quite frail, already sitting in a wheelchair - probably because of his physical condition.

Renata seemed in better shape, maybe because she was still in the dark about Sophia's situation. Clueless as ever, but with a youthful spirit.

When Kent said hi, Louis managed a weak smile back, his gaze drifting over to Theresa with a sort of faraway look.

Renata was also drawn to Theresa, exclaiming with surprise, "Yoli."

Theresa, a bit puzzled, turned her head towards Renata, not getting who she was calling. She had grown up a bit, and her features were starting to resemble a young Sophia more and more.

Louis and Martin were both taken aback. Ever since they found out Sophia was Yolanda, they'd asked a few times to see Sophia's daughter and even tried to visit, but Brandon had blocked all attempts.

After such a long time, this was their first reunion with Sophia's daughter. Louis and Martin were a mess of emotions, feeling like they had a lump in their throat, just gazing at Theresa and struggling to find words.

Only Renata was over the moon, already leaving Louis's wheelchair behind and squatting down in front of Theresa, smiling and calling her again, "Yoli, it's grandma."

Theresa glanced back at Brandon, clueless on what to do. Brandon gave her a smile and gently told her, "This is Mommy's grandma, you can call her Great- Grandma."
