"Serenity's position is special, Nolan chimed in thoughtfully. "She can't travel to Vonalo Village often. But if you're willing, Malaki, I could arrange for you to stay at Holy Cross Monastery. The abbot there is a friend, and it's near Serenity's herb field."

"If that's possible, I'd be grateful," Malaki said eagerly.

Truth be told, he wanted to move right away. But he had things to sort through at home, so he'd need a couple of days before heading to the monastery.
