Hearing Benedict’s words, Eliza paused briefly. A sneer appeared on her face, and her voice was cold. “Unfortunately, there‘ s no second chance in this case,”

Hearing her words, Benedict couldn’t hold himself back. He opened his mouth and spewed out a large mouthful of blood. Eliza’s fingertips twitched slightly, but her gaze remained unchanged. Meanwhile, Tina glanced at her sideways. After spitting out that mouthful of blood, Benedict looked almost lifeless. He seemed even weaker than the sick Anthony. Strangely enough, even in such a state, Benedict could still stand upright on the spot.

It was as if he had an unknown energy source supporting him, preventing him from collapsing completely.

As he stood, Benedict calmed his breathing. He slowly wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, pursed his pale lips, and looked at Eliza again. “How’s Dylan doing?”

Eliza replied indifferently, “No idea.” She didn’t take in Dylan and didn’t know why Benedict asked her about him.

Benedict seemed hopeless. Under his father’s watchful eyes, he couldn’t visit Dylan anymore. Hence, he just hoped Dylan was okay. Perhaps among the siblings, only Dylan could stay by Eliza’s side.

Eliza didn’t know what Benedict was thinking. Otherwise, she’d surely let out a sneer.
