The Lost Heiress 276

Chapter 276 Like Hell He Regrets It

Johnathan had no intention of telling Sierra how much that whole thing had secretly thrilled him.

They’d been going at it all night. Johnathan had been completely unhinged–Sierra couldn’t handle him at all.

She’d hit him, cursed at him, even cried while begging him to stop, but Johnathan had no plans of letting up.

In fact, the more she cried, the more excited he got.

By the time Sierra finally showed up at the lab the next morning, she was late–and got hit with a death glare from her professor.

Summer clothes didn’t hide much, and even the lab coat couldn’t cover the mess he’d left. The marks on her neck, behind her ears… way too obvious.

Professor Martin gave her a long, complicated look before muttering, “You kids really need to take it easy.” Then he couldn’t help adding, “That guy’s a menace. Don’t go spoiling him.”

Sierra had never been more embarrassed in her life–talking about this stuff with her professor, of all people.

She agreed with him, though. Johnathan was absolutely a menace. So she made a unilateral decision to give him the silent

treatment.

Thankfully, after that one comment, Professor Martin didn’t say much else. He went right back to yelling at other students. Sierra’s research was the least of his worries. The last time he saw that level of talent was in Johnathan–that damn troublemaker.

Thinking of Johnathan’s true nature when he let his guard down, Professor Martin gave Sierra a worried glance.

She was deep in her work and didn’t notice.

Johnathan knew he’d gone too far the night before. He’d never lost control like that.
