280 RIGHT TO ME

What happened? I asked the maid who had told me a little shit about my great–aunt, arid now I wanted to know the whole crap.

They wanted to leave, but I halted them and said, “Hold on. Take her along with you.” I was referring to Catherine.

“Okay, sir,” one of them says, moving closer and taking hold of Catherine’s hand.

“Find her a comfortable room, okay?”

“Okay, sir. Come on, let’s go.” They all walked away after that.

My great–aunt took her eyes off them and turned to me. “Who’s that girl now, huh?”

“You entered this residence with a prostitute who claimed to be your spouse. How disgusting is that?”

“Ariel is my wife. Show some respect,” I told her coldly and walked away.
