It was the day of the solstice. Time seemed to be moving at a sprint. Hurtling me towards this life–changing event. It should have been overwhelming, but it wasn’t. The closer it came to time the more ready Theo and I felt. Dasha was practically buzzing in my head. Ever since I had agreed to go through with the reconstitution, she had been more present than she had been in years.
