Rousse didn't think twice-he ran toward the sound of the cry. He arrived just in time to see her clinging desperately to the edge of a cliff. ---- "Hold on!" He shouted, lunging to grab her hand, but Meridiana couldn't hold on any longer-not even with her nails. With a scream, she fell from a dangerous height into the rushing river below.
