It was as if she'd been injected with pure adrenaline at the brink of death, She recited incantations we didn't understand, but they sounded dark, and they seeped into the cave, penetrating the mountains.

Something trembled deep in the earth, and a strong gust of wind struck me in the face. "Get out, get out, the cave is going to collapse!" I started yelling at Edgar to clear my exit. I could already feel the rocks falling; waves of strange energy came from somewhere inside the cave. Danger. My whole body screamed it as the stones crashed down, blocking the exit, and I was forced to push myself deeper inside.

Suddenly, the world shook violently, and a vortex seemed to suck us in from the cavern. Blinding lights burned my eyes, forcing them shut, and when we opened them again... we were no longer on our continent. It turned out the world was much bigger than Id imagined.
