Seeing that our car was about to crash against the gate, I freaked out and squeezed my eyes shut. The car skidded to a halt. My body jerked forward, and my chest hit the seatbelt with full force before I was propelled backward.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw that we were just a foot away from the gate. I patted my chest, breathing a sigh of relief. "Thank God!"

"Sylvia!" Rufus shouted. Rufus clamped his ear that I had kissed and glared at me. "Don't do this while I'm driving! What if I really crash the car?" "I'm sorry. I won't kiss you this way again." I lowered my head guiltily. "Don't be angry. I couldn't help it. You are adorable, after all."
