For many months I struggled to get the attention of the Lycan King again to no avail. Ashanti had completely stolen his heart and was the only person he thought about all day. Nothing I did made him look my way, instead, my deeds only got him more enraged and pushed us further apart.

I have bullied, threatened, set-up and killed people for this course. Things I never thought I was capable of doing, I did them just to get into Alpha Reagan's house. That has still not happened, but it will soon, especially now that I'm pregnant.

It's just a matter of time before I kick Ashanti out of that castle and take my rightful place back in the Lycan King's arms.

A knock on my room door brings me back to earth. I tell whoever it is to come and when Nelly does, a bright smile forms on my face.
