KYLE'S POV.

Everytime there's a gathering, my sister cooks up something that will ruin the mood and get people into danger. She's so good at this and I hate her so much for it.

On my way home, my mother called me, wailing and screaming about how Alina had lost the pregnancy and also commanding me to go check on her because she hasn't stopped crying ever since she got the news, but I ended the call and pretended the phone call never happened.

I've always known Alina to be an ambitious girl who's ready to do anything to get what she wants, but I had no idea to what lengths she was willing to go. Now that I've seen what she's capable of doing to others for her self interest, I don't think I even know who Alina is anymore. And the fact that our parents keep supporting her is absolutely disgusting. I hate them all for that!

I absolutely cannot believe that Alina killed her own child just to incriminate Ashanti and get a chance to get closer to Alpha Reagan.

"Welcome home, Delta Kyle." The guard who opens my car seat door welcomes me with a gracious bow.

"Thank you, Jamal." I reply with a curt smile as I step out of the car and stand tall, straightening my suit. "Is Tessa home?"

"Yes Sir. I brought her in a while ago."

My smile widens.

As she stands before me, every trace of excitement has been wiped clean from her face and replaced with a worried look. My brows crease when she holds my hands. “Babe, is it true? Has Ashanti really been locked up in the dungeon? Why are they accusing her of poisoning Alina so she could lose her pregnancy."
