"Don't be delusional, Alina." I say, taking a step forward. "I'm not here with all of these people because I'm worried about you or anything of that sort. If you look carefully, you'll notice there's a set of military mer among us and they are not here to protect you. They are here to have you arrested." I say as-a-matter-of-factly and a loud gasp escapes her chest as she takes a step back, looking completely dumbfounded. "Alpha Reagan, that do you mean by that?" That's her father. I ignore his question and signal the military men to step forward before looking at Alina again. The smile on her face has been wiped off and replaced by a terrified look that gives me joy.
