ASHANTI'S POV.

"Oh..." A little exclamation leaves my mouth when Ryan gets into the back seat with me while Sheila sits shot gun.

She's so mad at me. We've not exchanged a single word to each other since we had that little fight yesterday and I want it to stay that way. Because I feel like I'm going to lose my cool and give her a proper soclding if she tries to speak rudely to me again.

"You good?" Ryan inquires in a calm tone. I freeze on my seat. My brows rise to my hairline as I give him a surprised look.

Did he just ask about my well being?

"I uh... Yeah. I'm good."

"Good" he says, buckling his seat belt. When we're all settled in and our bags are put in the car, the driver gets in and we hit the road. I take that as the perfect opportunity to bury myself in my thoughts.

Once we go back to the Blue diamond Pack, I'll have to start my life from scratch. It's going to be hard and I know I'll have many melt downs along the way, but I'm strong and resilient and I know I will make it. Especially since I have my mother by my side.
