The building executive checked his surroundings. He then continued in a subdued voice, “This morning, the higher-ups have ordered us to retire Steven’s membership. In addition to that, our members will not be allowed any business dealings with him.”

Barry exclaimed in shock, “That’s pushing him toward bankruptcy!”

Every successful businessman must have owed the bank some money. For them to be denied any business dealings was akin to forcing them into surrender.

The banks might have gotten wind of this by now. It wouldn’t be surprising if they were waiting for Steven somewhere.

Barry blinked a few times before letting out a knowing sigh. “He must have gotten in the way of someone important!”
