The Omega: Mated To The Four

Chapter Forty Nine-1

When I stepped through the shimmering portal, I stumbled slightly, my feet landing on soft, damp ground. I blinked against the sudden brightness and looked up to see an awe-inspiring sight: a massive black castle, its spires reaching toward the cloudy sky like jagged talons. The air carried the scent of saltwater, and I realized were standing on an island. Surrounding the castle was a dense, dark forest that seemed to hum with life, its energy both inviting and ominous.

*Stormi!*

I turned to see Elijah standing a few feet away, his hand outstretched. I took it gratefully, my legs still shaky from the disorienting

experience.

“That was..... something else,” I said breathlessly.

Elijah smiled, steadying me. "I know right?"

Before I could say anything else, the hole behind me shimmered, and Isaiah emerged, followed closely by Alex and Austin. All three of them looked dazed.

"What the hell was that?" Austin asked, brushing dirt off his clothes.

"Magic," Alex replied simply, though his tone was filled with awe.

Eira appeared moments later, stepping gracefully through the shimmering portal as though she'd merely walked through a door. She glanced at us, her expression smug.

"You all made it in one piece. I'm impressed."

I glared at her. "You could've warned us it was going to feel like falling into a black hole!"

"Where's the fun in that?" Eira teased, "Welcome to the Umbral Society's headquarters," she said, a note of pride in her voice. Her robes fluttered slightly in the breeze. She adjusted her cloak and gestured toward the castle.

Before anyone could respond, a soft yet commanding voice echoed from the edge of the forest, Emerging from the shadows was a figure dressed in the signature white robe of the Umbral Society witches. Her face was obscured by a delicate veil, and she leaned heavily on an ornate staff carved with intricate symbols. The staff glowed faintly as she moved, her steps slow but purposeful.

Eira's face lit up with recognition and warmth. "Mother," she said, her voice filled with reverence. She strode forward and embraced the veiled woman gently.

The older woman's voice, though soft, carried authority as she spoke. “Eira, it is good to see you again. You've done well bringing

her here."

She turned her attention to me, and despite the veil, I felt the woman's gaze pierce straight through me. The wonían extended her wrinkled hand, and I hesitated for a moment before taking it.

The touch was unexpectedly warm, comforting even, as though the woman carried the weight of centuries but bore it with grace.

"I don't remember the last time I met your blood," the woman said, her voice tinged with a mix of nostalgia and
