The Omega: Mated To The Four

Chapter Sixty Six-1

The next morning, as I stepped out of my room, ready for another grueling day of training, I took a long, steadying breath as I stepped out of my room, fully geared and ready for another day of grueling training. My legs still ached from the punishment Commander Lynne had handed out yesterday, but I refused to let it slow me down. I was determined to keep pushing forward, no matter how much my body protested.

As I closed the door behind me, I was startled to find my four mates standing outside in the hallway, clearly waiting for me. Isaiah, ever the impulsive one, had his hand halfway in the air, looking like he'd been about to knock. In his other hand, he held a bouquet of vibrant wildflowers.

For a moment, I just stared at them, unsure of what to make of the scene. They all looked unusually nervous-an expression ! wasn't accustomed to seeing on their faces.

"What are you all doing here?" I asked, crossing my arms.

Isaiah opened his mouth to speak, but before he could get a word ou, all four of them dropped to their knees simultaneously, their eyes filled with a mixture of guilt and determination.

"We're sorry," they said in unison, their voices earnest and filled with remorse.

My eyebrows shot up. This wasn't exactly what I had expected to wake up to.

"Stormi," Elijah began, his deep voice unusually soft, "we need to apologize, We didn't mean for you to feel like... like you were some kind of game to us," he said, his gaze locked on mine. "The lot-drawing-it was stupid, and we see that now. It was a mistake, and we're deeply sorry."

Isaiah chimed in quickly, "We're sorry, okay? About everything. The lot-drawing, the way we handled things-it was stupid, and it hurt you. That wasn't our intention."

Austin chimed in, his usual playful demeanor replaced with sincerity. "Stormi, we didn't think about how it would make you feel. We were just trying to figure out how to manage... everything. But it was wrong, and we hurt you. That's the last thing any of us ever wanted."

Alex nodded, his voice softer. "You're more than we deserve, We messed up, and we'll do whatever it takes to make it right."

Isaiah held out the flowers, his expression almost nervous. "We're sorry, Stormi. Please, forgive us."

I stared at them, my heart conflicted. Part of me wanted to stay angry, to make them work harder for my forgiveness. But seeing them like this-on their knees, admitting their fault-made it difficult to hold on to the hurt.
