I thought I would be more embarrassed by the jokes the warriors made about my bite marks and scratches that are all over Hunter and which he is proudly displaying. I didn't exactly hide my bite marks, but I didn't flaunt them either. However, rather than feeling embarrassed, I felt proud, possessive. This man is mine and everyone should know it. Although, maybe I need to be a bit quieter in the future. 'Why? Everyone knows you're mated. Everyone knows you're pregnant with our mate's pup. Who cares if they hear you. It's not the same as being in front of them while it's happening, is it?' Hedda asks. I guess it isn't. Maybe it's the difference in the feeling of the pack members. Yes, they're teasing Hunter about it, careful not to say anything to me, but it's all in good fun. Rather than feeling sleazy or malicious, there's a happiness in the pack. They like that Hunter and I are so close. It helps them to feel more confident and calmer as our pack members.
