Slowly, very slowly so she can tell me to stop at any time, I lean forward before pressing my lips to hers. I realize instantly that she’s inexperienced, so I gently guide her, slowly showing her how to kiss me back. When I slide my tongue across her lips, she gasps and I slide my tongue into her mouth. I growl against her lips as I get my first taste of her caramel apple scent.

She moans softly against my mouth and I growl again, feeling even more possessive of my little Sphinx than I did before. I take my time, exploring her mouth and her taste while letting her get used to my kiss.

When I finally pull away, her eyes are glassy and her lips are puffy.

She nods. “That was my first kiss,” she whispers, as if it’s a secret.

I run my thumb over her bottom lip. “I hope it was everything you’d dreamed it would be,” I say.

I growl again. “Let’s see if your second kiss is everything you dreamed it would be,” I say, lowering my lips back to hers. This time, I’m a bit more demanding, a bit more possessive in the kiss. When she begins whimpering, her hips pressing up against me, I know that she’s enjoying the kiss as much as I am.

This time when I lift my head, I smile at my beautiful Sphinx. “You taste so sweet,” I murmur, kissing her chin.

“Do I get a third kiss?” she asks. She smiles mischievously, but her voice is still timid.

“Do you want one?” I ask her.

She nods again.

“You’re going to have to earn it,” I tell her.

She frowns. “How?”

I hop up, putting my hands out to take hers. “Fight me. Pin me. And take what you want,” I say as I help her up.

“You want me to fight you in order to kiss you?” she asks slowly as if my request makes no sense.

“That’s exactly what I want,” I say, stepping away from her. “How badly do you want another kiss?”

She debates long enough that I think I might have pushed her a bit too hard, but then she takes an offensive stance.

“That’s my girl,” I growl proudly.

She comes at me hard again, and I test her by sending punches strong enough to sting. When she starts to get in her head, I don’t back down.
