Brenna stepped in and blocked Rosie’s path. “You’re not going anywhere. You still haven’t transferred your shares to me. The agreement we signed is legally binding.”

Rosie, who had hoped to slip away quietly, exploded in anger. “I’ve already lost everything. Do you want to drive me to my death? I’m telling you now—I’m not handing over those shares. Let’s see what you can do about it!”
